Tuesday Lunch Crew (TLC)

TLC meets at a local restaurant for fun and fellowship the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am. Locations are announced in the bulletin, newsletter and weekly e-news. Contact the church office at 846-2212. All Soapstone friends and family are welcome!

Soapstone Sports

Fellowship, caring for our bodies, building relationships with other churches, and supporting missions are all good reasons to get involved with sports at Soapstone!  Bikers, swimmers, runners, walkers, and tri-athletes have joined together to raise money for missions in the Race of Grace in Raleigh, the CROP WALK, and the Mission Man Triathlon in Burlington.  Members have also joined together and coordinated other sports events throughout the year.

Currently, the Men’s Challenge Group meets on Sunday mornings at 7:00 am at the Lake Lynn Community Center parking lot on Ray Road. We open with a short devotion, start together, and then break out into run/jog/walk groups. Proverbs 27 says:  “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Come join us and start where you are today. Group meets rain or shine.

Membership Care

Soapstone’s mission is to joyfully worship and honor Christ through Help, Healing, and Hospitality. One of the ways that we do this is through our Membership Care ministry. Teams provide meals in times of need and may gather periodically for fellowship. For more information about Membership Care, contact the church office, 846-2212.
