Adult Choirs
Chancel Choir
The Soapstone Chancel or Adult Choir is open to ALL adults and senior high youth. The ability to read music and/or previous choral experience is useful but not required. During the school year, the Chancel Choir rehearses each Wednesday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm, and regularly sings in the 11:00 services. The Chancel Choir also sings for special services throughout the year, such as: Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Easter, Christmas, and the annual Christmas Cantata. The Chancel Choir always loves to welcome new members. All voice parts are needed. Contact the Music Director, David Lewis, for more information.
Covenant
Covenant is an adult ensemble that sings regularly for worship services at Soapstone. Featuring a unique combination of voices, this group enjoys trying new and challenging (primarily acapella) music as they seek to lead the people of Soapstone in worshipping God.
