Monthly Cost for the 2012-2013 school year: $340
The Transition Class is held five days per week according to the following schedule:
M/Th/F 9:30 am-12:30 pm
T/W 9:30 am-1:30 pm (children bring lunch)
Note: The extra hours on T/W are included in the montly tuition rate.
Purpose And Skills Development:
The Transition Class is designed to meet the needs of children who are 5 years old by October 16 and may benefit from an extra year of Preschool before entering Kindergarten. Our goal is to prepare the children for the challenges of a full day Kindergarten class by expanding pre-reading, writing, Science, math, social/emotional and independence skills. In addition to the general areas of development, a sample of what the children will learn is as follows:
- Readily shares and takes turns
