Privacy policy

We are very concerned about our members privacy. On this page you will find both information on our policies and steps we have taken to keep your information private.

  1. What information is requested to get a User ID?
    You will be required to provide the following information: your name, home phone, e-mail address, address, and whether you are an adult or youth. You can also choose whether to have your information listed in our online directory.

  2. What if I want to change whether or not my information is listed in the online directory?
    You can update your profile at any time. After you have a User ID, on the left-hand navigation, go to Members -> Update Profile. Click Edit on the bottom of the profile, and update it.

  3. How is a User ID granted?
    When someone applies for a new User ID, a church staff person is notified. If the person's name appears in our database of members or regular attendees the User ID is granted. If he/she is not currently attending Soapstone the person receives an e-mail explaining that the purpose of member ID’s is to provide for our members. Since his name does not appear in our database of members or regular attendees, we can’t provide access at this time. The webmaster and pastor’s e-mail addresses are included, in case someone wants to contact us.
    Exceptions to this procedure are granted with pastor approval only.
